What do I need to bring to a gunfighting with handguns 1 class?

Lunch/Snacks/Drinks – there is NO PLACE to purchase anything at or near the range, if you don’t bring food/water/snacks, you will go without.
Any handgun of any caliber from .22lr up to .45ACP. It is best if you bring the gun you would potentially carry.
250 rounds of ammunition – this can be the cheapest stuff you can find
2 Magazines MINIMUM – more is better
A safe holster – the holster MUST cover the trigger guard. Kydex is preferred. Nylon holsters are discouraged. Leather holster are OK but not preferred. Here is an example of something that will work that doesn’t cost a lot of money: go to Amazon and type in “AMBERIDE KYDEX HOLSTER”
A sturdy belt (thick leather or stiff nylon) – woven leather or cloth belts are not acceptable. A good, inexpensive belt for the class is like this one: go to Amazon and type in MIJIU Nylon 1.5 belt
A magazine pouch can be used (see the AMBERIDE site for examples) or just pockets will work too.
Eye protection (safety glasses)
Ear protection (foam ear plugs or muff style)
Hat/rain coat/etc. THE CLASS WILL BE HELD NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE, SO PLAN AND DRESS ACCORDINGLY.
